Shaffee Bacchus holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy and is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. Following his Pharmacy residency training in critical care at Weill Cornel Medical Center, he conducted Medicare funded outcomes research at DaVita Inc, assessing multidisciplinary interventions that reduce total healthcare cost. He transitioned to Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceutical where he held Health Economics and Outcomes Research roles in additional to field medical leadership responsibilities. After a brief stint at CVS leading field medical services during the pandemic, he joined AbbVie Inc. Currently Dr. Bacchus is the Medical Access Strategy Lead for Imbruvica. He recently completed the Harvard Business School programs in Digital Health, Entrepreneurship and Innovation and is focused on understanding modalities to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and survivorship.
