Dr. Amelia K. Hausauer is Director of Dermatology and Head of Aesthetic Medicine for Aesthetx, a hybrid dermatology-plastic surgery practice in Silicon Valley, California. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and medical doctorate from University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Dr. Hausauer completed residency by New York University (NYU) followed by an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) cosmetic surgery fellowship at Skincare and Laser Physicians of Beverley Hills.

She is committed to advancing research and innovation, serving as editor for the textbook "Platelet Rich Plasma and Microneedling in Aesthetic Medicine," and publishing in numerous journals and textbooks on fillers, neuromodulators and regenerative medicine. Dr. Hausauer is on the editorial board for Dermatologic Surgery Journal and a reviewer for over half a dozen peer-reviewed periodicals. She speaks nationally and internationally in an attempt to elevate the field of aesthetics. Dr. Hausauer is involved in ASDS leadership and serves as a key opinion leader and strategic advisor for continuing medical education, early pipeline innovation, and product research and development for multiple injectable, regenerative medicine and skincare companies. She is an investigator and sub-investigator for FDA and independent clinical trials, bringing products to market or validating them with the highest level of evidence.

She blends this scholarly background with 2 decades of ballet training to create an integrated approach to health and beauty.
