A highly respected physician-scientist in the field of dermatology, Dr. Rosmarin is currently chair of the Department of Dermatology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. His area of research interest is in inflammatory disorders of the skin and includes leadership of the largest randomized controlled studies ever conducted in vitiligo--a condition in which the skin loses its pigment cells. Along with clinical research, Rosmarin has also held leadership roles in graduate medical education, serving as residency program director from 2016-2020. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Harvard University and his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 2005. After completing the Tufts Physician Leadership Program at Boston University Questrom School of Business and the Advanced Leadership Forum with the American Academy of Dermatology, he joined the faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine in 2013 as an assistant professor and was later promoted to associate professor in 2021. He joined IU in January 2023.
