Jared L. Ross is a board-certified Emergency Physician with over 24 years of experience as an EMT, paramedic, firefighter, SWAT team member, and EMS educator. Jared is clinically active in Emergency Medicine, EMS, and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Ross is the Founder and President of EMSEC, LLC which provides medical education and consulting services. He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Missouri, Assistant Director of the Emergency Department at Bothwell Regional Hospital, and the EMS medical director for several agencies and educational programs. He has presented at over 90 national and international conferences. His research interests include limited-resource medicine, emergency pharmacology, and medical technology. In his spare time Jared enjoys skiing, underwater hockey, and flying paragliders, hang gliders, and other ultralight aircraft.
