Dr. Glenn Asaeda is Chief Medical Director with the Fire Department of the City of New York. He was one of the physicians providing medical oversight during the attacks at World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He is also Assistant Medical Team Manager for the FEMA New York City Urban Search and Rescue NYTF-1 Team with deployments to flood relief in upstate New York, hurricane relief in the Dominican Republic and southern United States, and the Haiti Earthqauke. He is an emergency medicine physician with a past history of EMS provision both as a field provider and 911 dispatcher. He is also an auxiliary police officer with the NYPD, assigned to the 61st precicint out of Brooklyn South.
