Herbert Aronow, MD, MPH, MSCAI, FACC, MSVM, is Medical Director of the Heart & Vascular Service Line at Henry Ford Health, and a Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University. Dr. Aronow completed undergraduate, medical school & public health studies and internal medicine residency at University of Michigan and cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic. He is a former SCAI Trustee, Past President of the Society for Vascular Medicine, former Peripheral Vascular Disease Section Chair and past Board of Governors member at ACC. His research and clinical activity is focused on the comparative safety and effectiveness of coronary, structural and peripheral vascular intervention. Dr. Aronow has more than 240 peer-reviewed publications, and serves on the editorial boards for JSCAI, Circulation, Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions, JACC, JACC: Interventions, and Vascular Medicine.
