Rafael Bernal is a seasoned Radiology Assistant with a 22-year career dedicated to the field of radiology. His expertise spans a broad spectrum, encompassing interventional and diagnostic radiology. He has held roles ranging from clerical, and radiology technologist to lead/supervisor and, currently, radiologist assistant.

A testament to his dedication and performance, Rafael has been honored with the Employee of the Month award and recognized as Miami Dade College's Clinical Radiology Technologist of the Year for two consecutive years.

Actively engaged in the radiology community, Rafael is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the Association of Vascular and Interventional Radiographers, and the Radiologist Assistant Community. He contributes to the field as an Advisory Board member for Keiser University's Radiologic Technology Program and Rad Partners' Advanced Practice Provider. His expertise is shared through presentations on topics such as The Future of Radiation Safety, Radiology Then and Now, and What is a Radiologist Assistant.
