Kevin Nicholas, MSN, RN, CV-BC is the corporate Director of Clinical Operations Interventional Services for Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute, a cardiovascular Center of Excellence, and the Heart and Vascular service line for Baptist Health. In this role he oversees all minimally invasive heart and vascular service lines for Baptist Health’s 11 hospitals, outpatient, and ambulatory settings. A board certified cardiac and vascular registered nurse, practicing for over 18 years, he has dedicated his service to cardiac and vascular disease in the fields of critical care and specialty procedures encompassing endovascular and minimally invasive therapies.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Kent State University and a Master of Science in nursing with a focus on healthcare leadership and administration from Capella University.
Kevin has played an integral role in system-wide initiatives to enhance CV healthcare delivery by working to upgrade and expand interventional cardiology, interventional radiology/neuroradiology/oncology, electrophysiology, and vascular clinical service lines throughout the enterprise, including expansion of invasive cardiovascular services to the ambulatory surgery environment.
