Astrid Pavlovsky was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated from Medical School with honors in 1997. She did her fellow in Internal Medicine in a prestigious University Hospital, Hospital Italiano, and continued training in FUNDALEU as a fellow in Hematology. She later performed medical training in Lymphomas, with an experience in Dana Farber Boston, USA.
Since 2003 she is working as a staff in the onco;hematology department in FUNDALEU. She participates in different clinical investigational trials as principal investigator or co- investigator. She is Medical Director of an outpatient clinic dedicated only to hematological patients.
She received the certificate of Competence in Lymphomas from the ULM University, Germany in 2016.
Since 2005 has been an active member of GATLA (Argentinean cooperative group) and is currently the Chairman of the Lymphoma Study group. She is involved in several educational activities, workshops and university courses. Since 2011 she is involved as a speaker and discussant in the European School of Oncology e-grounds. She later joined de Lymphoma Hub to promote hematological knowledge. She is also part of the internacional organizing comitee of the International T cell Proyect.
Since 2017 she is being part of the Advisory board of the International Congress on Malignant Lymphomas. She is reviewer in several prostigious journals and has collaborated with NCCN guidelines.
Dr. Pavlovsky has been author and co-author in several national and international journals with a special interest in Lymphomas.
