Marlyse Berger works as a Physician Assistant at Weill Cornell Medicine at the Phyllis and David
Komansky Children’s Hospital. Her interest in medicine, and oncology in particular, began soon after
college when she worked at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating
with a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies she began working at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore
on the inpatient hematology/oncology unit. Marlyse has dedicated her entire career to working in the
oncology field in both the pediatric and adult settings. In her current role Marlyse takes care of on
therapy pediatric oncology patients as well as long term survivors. She additionally provides fertility
preservation consultations to both the adult and pediatric patients throughout the Cornell and NYP
networks.
