Cindy Cooke is a board certified family nurse practitioner from Huntsville, AL. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Alabama Birmingham with a focus on health literacy.

Dr. Cooke is strong believer in primary care and the prevention of illness by seeking the root of health issues. Her decades of clinical practice has been primarily focused on military families but now consulting in health promotion. She was named a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2009. Dr. Cooke is an in-demand speaker, having spoken locally, nationally and internationally on a variety of clinical and health policy topics.
