Lynn Bahta is a Public Health Nurse, at the Minnesota Department of Health, serving as the Immunization Clinical Consultant. Ms Bahta has 15 years of clinical nursing experience in internal medicine and pediatrics. She began her public health work in Sudan, Africa in 1985. Subsequently Lynn received her Master’s Degree from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. With over twenty-five years of work in immunization, Ms. Bahta currently provides subject matter expertise to MDH immunization programs, local public health, and clinicians. In addition to technical consultation, she does extensive work for MDH addressing vaccine confidence and hesitancy issues. Lynn just completed a 4-year appointment to the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
