Mohammad (Mac) Ansari is an Interventional Cardiologist who specializes in Structural Heart and Vascular Interventions. He is a Vice Chair Clinical Research at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He also serves as the Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Structural Heart Program and the TTUHSC PAD Center of Excellence. After residency at Beth Israel Medical Center and Cardiology fellowship at Cornell University, he completed his additional Fellowship training's in Interventional Cardiology at University of Miami, Structural Heart Disease Fellowship at Lenox Hill Heart & Vascular Institute and Advance Vascular, Endovascular & Innovation in Michigan. His research interests include Bioabsorbable scaffolds, DCB's, newer atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, TAVR, EVAR, PE, Structural heart 3D imaging, R2P and closure devices. He is also actively involved in various educational activities for fellows and early career cardiologist.
