Kristian Dambrino (she, her, hers) is an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Founder of Dambrino Wellness, an outpatient mental health practice in Nashville, TN, she is pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Belmont University College of Nursing, with a current focus on innovative global nursing partnerships in Indonesia. Having worked extensively with severe and persistent mental illness in community mental health and crisis settings, Dambrino embraces a trauma-informed, evidence-based prescribing model for her patients.

A Francophone and former graphic designer with a passion for solo travel, Dambrino writes and performs jazz concerts yearly in France and across the United States. She enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration through consulting, public speaking and creative curriculum development in psychopharmacology, having authored an ANCC board-compliant graduate nursing course, Foundations in Psychopharmocology for a graduate nursing school in Colorado. She is a guest lecturer for Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, and she has taught as adjunct faculty at Michigan State University and Marian University. Serving on the Board of Directors for Progress, Inc., a non-profit for older adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Dambrino volunteers extensively with Rotary International, Project C.U.R.E., Habitat for Humanity, and Nashville International Center for Empowerment in resettling refugees in Middle Tennessee. As Research Fellow Supervisor, Global Health Innovation at Belmont University, Dambrino is passionate about improving treatment outcomes for marginalized groups of people impacted by mental illness.
