Christina C. Morone ("CC") has been an emergency medicine PA at Massachusetts General Hospital for over a decade. She had worked as a software engineer in California for over 6 years prior to that. It was after working with the homeless community as well as providing aide at harm reduction clinics in San Francisco alongside physician assistants as an Americorps-Healthcorp intern, she went to pursue her own Master's degree and become a physician assistant. She is the first Director of EM APP Ultrasound at MGH where she lectures, teaches, engages in research with members of the ultrasound division. Her work in point-of-care ultrasound in the emergency department also led her to be the first physician assistant to be appointed a faculty position at Harvard Medical School as a Teaching Associate. She has also done research and collaborated with industry partners to help develop AI tools with the use of ultrasound. She is also active with her local community and an advocate for civic engagement. She has been on the board of the Massachusetts Association of Physician Associates (MAPA) since 2021 and served as the first Asian-American President of MAPA in 2023-2024, currently serving as the Immediate Past President. She is currently serving as a commissioner for the city of Somerville Commission for Women, an advisor to Vot-ER.org, and is the operating manager and co-founder of a local nonprofit voter engagement organization, One Nation Every Vote (OneV).
