Nicole is the Director of Community Engagement at the Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance (S&PAA). The mission of S&PAA is to advance systemic change and promote recovery through research, education, care, and advocacy. Nicole is leading S&PAA’s work to foster a supportive and informed community for people affected by schizophrenia. Her multifaceted position involves managing a non-crisis helpline, overseeing support groups and developing initiatives that enhance support and community outreach.

Nicole joined S&PAA in May 2024, bringing a 35-year background in business as a former IT executive and chief marketing officer. She also authored the book, Schizophrenia and Other Related Disorders. A Handbook for Caregivers. Nicole earned her undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary in Virginia.
