SeniorComps was founded by Michael Baldwin in 2023 with the mission to enhance the quality and availability of property-level data for seniors housing and care properties. Through his nearly 20 years of valuation experience, Michael has seen first-hand the data challenges faced in the industry—not only by appraisers but also by brokers, lenders, investors, owners, operators, and developers. Our goal at SeniorComps is to enable industry professionals to make faster and better-informed decisions by providing an exclusive platform for their competitive market intelligence.

Before launching SeniorComps, Michael was most recently the founder and president of OHC Advisors, a national appraisal and market analysis firm. He also previously held leadership roles in several other national healthcare real estate valuation firms, has been a speaker on valuation and market analysis topics at industry conferences, and has served as an expert witness on appraisal and valuation issues in a wide variety of civil and criminal cases.

Michael attended Florida State University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and he now lives in sunny Miami, Florida. When he's not screen-tanning at the office desk, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two teenagers as well as skiing, wakeboarding, and trying not to sink his small boat for a third time.
