Her strategic decision-making inspires business growth, day-to-day management and proactive problem-solving — and it’s rooted in her 30 years of experience with GlynnDevins (later Attane), Barkley and American Century Investments in Kansas City, Mo. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her integrity is universally respected. She holds an MBA from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a BS in Journalism from the University of Kansas.

With a passion for service, Macheers is actively involved in both civic and community organizations. She serves as an Executive Board Member and Secretary for The Friends of Cedar Crest, a graduate of the 2016 class for Dwight D. Eisenhower Excellence in Public Service and was previously a member of their Executive Board. Some of her former roles include Trustee for the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame, member of the Board of Directors and head of the Strategic Planning Committee for Growing Futures (formerly Head Start of Shawnee Mission) and a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center Maternity Center in Overland Park, Kan.

She and her husband live in Shawnee, Kan., with their son and two very crazy Weimaraners.
