Drew LaBoon has been the Director of Operations at Pathways Recovery Centers since June 2023. Starting in admissions in 2020, he later led outreach initiatives focused on fentanyl overdose awareness statewide. Drew contributes to Griffin Communications/News 9 on the opioid crisis and serves on the National Recovery Rally board.

Before this, Drew worked in defense contracting after retiring from the military in 2016. He served 17 years with the United States Special Operations Command, with multiple combat deployments and numerous awards. He holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Boston College, earned in 2017.

Drew has spearheaded efforts to bring innovation to Pathways Recovery Centers, enhancing the quality of care. By integrating cutting-edge technologies and data-driven approaches, Pathways has improved client outcomes and streamlined operations. His initiatives focus on utilizing AI for predictive outcomes, enhancing clinician-client interactions, and optimizing revenue cycle management. Drew’s commitment to innovation ensures that Pathways remains at the forefront of effective addiction treatment.

Drew's personal and professional experience with addiction includes two inpatient treatments and five detox centers over four years. In 2019, he entered residential treatment at Pathways Recovery Centers Oklahoma facility, the same facility he now leads. His recovery was supported by the center and a 12-step program. Sharing his journey is central to his mission, offering hope and showing that recovery is achievable.
