Phillip Gu is an Assistant Professor in the F. Widjaja Inflammatory Bowel Disease Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at UT Southwestern followed by an advanced IBD fellowship at Cedars-Sinai. Dr. Gu has research interests in innovative applications of imaging and use of AI in IBD. Clinically, Dr. Gu has a particular interest in intestinal ultrasound for IBD and started the intestinal ultrasound program at Cedars-Sinai.
