Dr. Robin Dalal is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She earned her BS from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA and her MD from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Dalal completed her internship, residency, chief residency, and gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2017. Dr. Dalal has received numerous teaching awards and recognitions, and she is a is involved in several educational programs at different levels of training. She serves as the Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at VUMC, the Program Director of the Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellowship Program at VUMC, and also has a role in the VUMC School of Medicine. Dr. Dalal is actively involved in leadership committees in national organizations including the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology. Her research interests include cardiac disease in IBD and psychosocial care in IBD.
