Julianne H. Wagnon, FNP-BC, JD, is an Assistant in Medicine in the IBD Clinic in the Division of Gastroenterology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree at Rhodes College, her law degree at the University of Mississippi, and her Master of Nursing at Vanderbilt University. She joined David Schwartz, MD, in the Vanderbilt IBD Clinic in 2004 and currently practices with co-faculty member, Robin Dalal, MD and Douglas Luckett, RN. Ms. Wagnon has enjoyed providing care for IBD patients for most of the past two decades. She also enjoys clinical and didactic teaching. She has taught IBD and gastroenterology at the Vanderbilt School of Nursing, as well as at regional and national conferences. She is passionate about the Vanderbilt IBD model which incorporates a multi-specialty delivery of outstanding care, incorporating medicine, mental health, nutrition, research, and functional medicine. Prior to changing careers, she practiced law for a decade and continues to consult on medical-legal matters.
