Dr. Trisha Roy is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and a Vascular Surgeon-Scientist at the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center. She leads the Peripheral Vascular Imaging & Device Innovation Lab at Houston Methodist Research Institute, where her research focuses on developing novel MRI techniques for peripheral arterial disease.

Dr. Roy completed her vascular surgery residency and PhD in medical imaging at the University of Toronto, where she pioneered an MRI method for imaging occlusive peripheral arterial disease. This innovation led to the development of the CathPilot steering catheter and a subsequent company launch.
Her groundbreaking work has earned prestigious recognition, including a Jerold B. Katz Investigator endowment, an American Heart Association Transformational Project award and NIH R01 funding. Board-certified in Vascular Surgery, Dr. Roy brings a unique background in engineering, imaging, and clinical expertise to her mission of transforming endovascular procedure planning and performance.
