Laiq Raja, MD is an Interventional Cardiologist practicing in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Raja earned his medical degree at the Autonomous University of Cuidad Juárez in Mexico and did his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso.
Dr. Raja furthered his training, completing fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, and he is an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso.
Board-certified by the American Board of Vascular Medicine, the American Board of Interventional Cardiology, the American Board of Cardiology & CV Diseases, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Raja has served as principal investigator in numerous clinical research studies and has published in journals including Endovascular Today and Cath Lab Digest.
Since 2018, Dr. Raja has served as Director and President of PULSE Amputation Centers, and he is also the Director of Cardiology and Medical Director of the CLI Program at The Hospitals of Providence (Memorial Campus).
