Dr. Madassery is an Associate Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and Rush Oak Park Hospital. He is the Director of The Advanced Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, the only one in the nation. Also, Dr. Madassery is the Director of Peripheral Vascular Interventions, CLI Program and the IVC Filter Clinic at Rush.

Dr. Madassery received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science, and his Diagnostic Radiology residency was performed at Rush University Medical Center. He completed his Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Rush University Medical Center as well. He is recently inducted as Fellow of the Society of interventional Radiology (FSIR).

Dr. Madassery has authored and co-authored numerous articles, has given numerous grand rounds and educational presentations around the country & globally. He is on the Standards and Practices Committee within the Society of Interventional Radiology, ECS Governing Council Chair, and Organizing Committee for the annual LEARN meeting. Currently, he is Chair of the SIR PAD Specialty Council. Much of his practice is dedicated to Critical Limb Ischemia Revascularization and Limb Preservation. Recently, he published a multidisciplinary Comprehensive Limb Preservation Guidebook, entitled Limb Preservation for the Vascular Specialist, with over 60 co-authors collaboarating. Other interests include Complex IVC Filter Retrievals, Dialysis Interventions, Venous Reconstructions, and Interventional Oncology.
