Dr. Armeen Mahvash joined the faculty at MD Anderson Cancer Center as an Assistant Professor in 2006. He is currently is Professor of Interventional Radiology at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. His clinical and research interests are concentrated in the use of radioactive microspheres for the treatment of primary and metastatic liver disease. He as published on the clinical outcomes of radioactive microsphere for the treatment of primary and metastatic liver disease as well as the use of pateint specific dosimetry for radioactive microspheres. He is currenty a Primary Investagor for 2 prospective clinical trials using personized dosimetry using resin or glass microspheres for the treatment of HCC.
