Medical oncologist Ardaman Shergill, MD, specializes in providing comprehensive care to patients with colorectal, pancreatic and appendix cancers. Her research focuses on early onset GI cancers and clinical investigations of targeted therapies for gastrointestinal cancers, especially treatments aimed at the MAPK pathway in gastrointestinal cancers. She is developing clinical trials that use novel therapies to advance clinical care. She serves as executive officer for the gastrointestinal cancers committee at the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, a National Cancer Institute funded oncology research organization. She is part of the NCCN pancreatic adenocarcinoma panel. Dr. Shergill has published research in several peer-reviewed journals, including New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clincal Oncology, JCO-Percision Oncology, Journal of American College of Surgeon, Annals of Surgery, Nature Medicine, Oncology, Annals of Surgical Oncology, Genes and BMC cancer.
