Dr. Laura Huppert is an Assistant Professor and breast medical oncologist at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Huppert earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School. She completed Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at UCSF before starting on faculty at UCSF in 2022. Dr. Huppert is interested in clinical and translational breast cancer research in both early-stage and metastatic disease. She is involved in the I-SPY2 clinical trial for neoadjuvant therapy in early-stage breast cancer. She is also interested in designing clinical trials with novel therapies for patients with metastatic breast cancer, including better evaluation and management of toxicities. She has received an ASCO Merit Award and is currently the recipient of the Helen Diller Comprehensive Cancer Center K12 Physician Scientist Program in Clinical Oncology.
