Gresha Eberly is a woman in long term recovery from a substance use disorder. As a public advocate to destigmatize addiction treatment in healthcare settings, she has used her lived experience to educate physicians in training at MSU by sharing her story with them during their Addiction Medicine Intersession. She has been featured on several media outlets, including Spectrum Health’s “Spectrum Health Beat” and Fox 17’s “Beating the Odds” segment. Gresha worked as a recovery coach with Spectrum Health’s Inpatient Addiction Consult service and is currently the Project Manager for the HEART Initiative. She has a passion for helping those who struggle with addiction to live their best lives; the lives they were meant to live.
