Dr. Jennifer Adams (MD, FAAD, DTM&H) is an associate professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She serves as the Residency Program Director, Director of Teledermatology, Director of Tropical and Infectious Disease Dermatology, and the dermatologist to the Nebraska Medicine Biocontainment Unit. She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Physiology from Boston University and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, graduating junior AOA. She completed her training in dermatology at the University of Miami where she served as a chief resident. Dr. Adams has additionally earned her Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene through the Gorgas course at the Hospital Nacional Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. She has a particular interest in infectious and tropical disease dermatology with extensive international tropical medicine experience, most recently in Haiti, Southeast Asia, Eastern Africa and South America.
