Prof. Dato' Dr. Harikrishna K.R. Nair is a highly accomplished and well-respected wound care professional with extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the President Elect of D-Foot International and President Elect of the World Union of Wound Healing Societies, President of the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals MSWCP, Chairman of the Commonwealth Wound Care Resources Alliance, and Chairman of the ASEAN Wound Council. Prof. Dato' Dr. Nair is also the Head of the Wound Care Unit at the Department of Internal Medicine in Hospital Kuala Lumpur, a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Lincoln University, and a Professor at the Institute of Health Management in Austria. He is additionally the Vice Chairman of the National Technical Committee on Wound Care at the Ministry of Health Malaysia, and the Editor in Chief of the Wounds Asia Journal, Journal of Wound Care, and the Malaysian Journal of Medical Research.
