Dr Council is a dermatologic surgeon in St. Louis, MO. She is currently the director of Dermatologic Surgery at Washington University and the program director of the MSDO fellowship. Dr Council completed medical school and dermatology residency training at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and a fellowship in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures/micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology (MSDO) at St. Louis University. She is the Vice President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and a current member of the Board of Directors of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr Council serves on the Editorial Board of several dermatology journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and has authored over 90 peer-reviewed scientific papers and is the editor of 2 textbooks.
