Gina Thorne is a distinguished 30-year veteran in prevention, treatment, and recovery support with an extensive background in behavioral health marketing and operations. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with a diverse range of organizations in both the private and public sectors. Her experience spans in-patient treatment programs, psychiatric hospitals, and institutions of higher learning across Florida, New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Colorado.

Gina’s expertise in mental health and substance use disorder prevention and treatment is well-recognized on a national scale. She served as a member of the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) Advisory Board and played a pivotal role in establishing the Colorado Professional Liaison Association (CO-PLA) alongside Colorado’s business development leaders. Her leadership has also been instrumental at Treatment Professionals in Alumni Services (TPAS), where she served as Board Co-Chair and now holds the role of Executive Director. Additionally, Gina has driven marketing, business development, alumni, and admissions efforts for three renowned treatment programs across both the East and West Coasts.

Gina’s core competencies include leadership coaching, comprehensive 360 organizational evaluations, and a strengths-driven approach to organizational development. She excels in collaborating with revenue-generating departments such as business development, marketing, alumni, and admissions to foster sustainable census growth.

Gina is CEO of GTC Consulting, a firm dedicated to identifying and addressing both internal and external challenges that impede census growth. She remains devoted to fostering a vibrant employee culture, enhancing brand visibility, and fortifying the reputation of behavioral health organizations within their respective communities.
