Allison Harden’s long-term recovery journey in Denver led her to Community Outreach and Referral Development roles at the Betty Ford Center and Center for Dependency Addiction and Rehabilitation (CeDAR). She completed a Master of Science degree from University of Denver in Organizational Leadership. Her education along with her lived experience, inspired her to build Beyond Betty where she continues to support individuals, families, and organizations through education, engagement, supervision, and community outreach. It is her vision, that we can all improve recovery outcomes through implementation of Recovery Orientated Systems of Care. These systems include all of the components proven to enhance recovery outcomes for licensed professionals. The Beyond Betty recovery engagement program “Get Recovered” incorporates these elements and includes recovery peer support services. She holds the National Credential for Peer Recovery Support Specialist through NAADAC and the Colorado Peer and Family Specialist Credential through Colorado Providers Association.
