DeLayna Goulding is a senior epidemiologist and research consultant with more than 8 years of experience working with public health surveillance focused on injury, substance use, and behavioral health. Throughout her career, she has collaborated across local, state, and national levels to enhance public health outcomes. Her research interests include comprehensive surveillance and detection of emerging substance use trends. She leads analysis, reporting, and product dissemination for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN), a national public health surveillance system that monitors drug and alcohol-related ED visits.
