Dr. Allyson Varley is an implementation scientist affiliated jointly with the Birmingham VA Health Care System, the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Heart Rhythm Solutions, LLC. She completed her PhD in Health Behavior at UAB School of Public Health, where she focused on the measurement of physician readiness to care for patients with long-term pain and challenges regarding prescribed opioids. She has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods. She is a collaborating scientist on the CSI:OPIOIDs study
