Alice Zhang

Alice Zhang, MD, MPH is a family medicine physician and tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine. She completed her medical school at University of Maryland, Baltimore and her family medicine residency training at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. Following residency, she finished a primary care research fellowship and obtained a Master's in Public Health (MPH) at Penn State College of Medicine. Her clinical experience in treating substance use disorder within primary care settings has motivated her to find creative and innovative ways to deliver treatment and harm reduction items/services to those who need it the most in the community. She has a passion for addressing health disparities and public health needs, conducting community-engaged research, and reaching the underserved.
