Robert McClintock has been the Director of Fire & EMS Operations at IAFF since May 2021. In that position, he provides direction to a talented and dedicated group of GIS analysts, data analysts, and subject matter experts who perform response, risk, and demand analysis for fire and EMS departments across the United States of America and Canada. He started with IAFF in 2015, first as a fire-based EMS specialist and then as deputy director of Fire and EMS Operations. Prior to joining the IAFF, McClintock retired as a captain after a 25-year career with the City of Hackensack Fire Department. He served as vice president of Hackensack, NJ Local 2018 and as a trustee for Hackensack Fire Officers Local 3172. Robert also worked at MONOC, a paramedic agency in New Jersey, serving in multiple positions over a 17-year career, including EMT, paramedic, 9-1-1 dispatcher, communications coordinator and operations coordinator for the agency’s South Division. In May 2022, the Center for Public Safety Excellence appointed him to the Commission on Fire Accreditation International as the Labor representative.

McClintock has a baccalaureate degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. In addition, he is a nationally registered paramedic and an emergency medical dispatch instructor for Priority Dispatch.
