Megan is the Senior Director of Substance Use Disorders and Recovery at the Clinton Foundation. In this role, she designs and implements programs that build the capacity of faith and community leaders to address the overdose crisis using approaches that meet people where they are. She also works to expand community access to the opioid overdose antidote naloxone. Before joining the Clinton Foundation, Megan worked as Senior Technical Advisor at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene where she led projects that increased accessibility and usability of health data for research, program and policy development. Prior to that she worked as program manager at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and led a program that increased access to mental health services by integrating therapists into primary care practices throughout the city. Prior to that position Megan worked as Program Officer at ICAP, Columbia University where she led initiatives to build the capacity of students, health care and public health professionals working in HIV prevention, care and research globally. Megan has also worked as a psychiatric social worker and counselor, and is a certified instructor in Mental Health First Aid. Megan served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Haiti and holds bachelors degrees in psychology and anthropology from the University of Colorado, and masters degrees in public health and social work from Columbia University.
