Amanda Consigli is an epidemiologist and public health analyst with an expertise and passion for addressing substance misuse/use and overdose. She currently serves as the Massachusetts Public Health Analyst at the CDC Foundation, working on the Overdose Response Strategy in collaboration with the New England High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area. In her role, Amanda plays a pivotal part in fostering collaboration between public health and public safety to develop joint initiatives to reduce overdoses. Amanda has served on the Commission of Methamphetamine Use and on an Advisory Board for the SAMHSA Prescription Drug/Opioid Overdose-Related Deaths (PDO) Grant in Massachusetts. Amanda holds a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Global Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Connecticut, which allows her to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field.
