Mr. Sean Couch has over 15 years of community and state level experience in the mental health and substance use disorder treatment field. As Project Director for Oklahoma’s Regional Partnership Grant, Mr. Couch oversaw the development and launch of the state’s first clinic providing trauma-informed prenatal care, substance use treatment, and recovery supports for pregnant individuals and their families. He has also provided training and technical assistance to mental health and substance use treatment providers across Oklahoma through multiple initiatives to support the integration of innovative approaches to delivering care, increasing capacity, and improving access to treatment for the communities they serve. He presents on a variety of topics at national, Tribal, state, and community events related to substance use and mental disorders—with particular emphasis on cross-systems collaboration, capacity building, and improving outcomes for infants affected by prenatal substance exposure. Mr. Couch holds a Bachelor of Science in Training and Development from the University of Central Oklahoma; he is also a graduate of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Executive Leadership Academy.
