Lisseth Guerra is a Senior Research and Evaluation Specialist at NACCHO with over 5+ years of combined experience in program evaluation and implementation. Currently, Lisseth is working in the Research, Evaluation, and Data Communications Team (RED) at NACCHO and is responsible for supporting and incorporating evaluation methods across NACCHO’s programs.

Prior to joining NACCHO, Lisseth was leading the Epidemiology program at a local health department in York, Pennsylvania, and was responsible for leveraging the utilization of GIS to develop public facing data dashboards and incorporate data workflows to enhance disease surveillance.

Before her work at York, Lisseth was part of a team spearheading the community health needs assessment and improvement planning work at the Florida Department of Health.

Throughout her career she has spearheaded the development of needs assessments and utilized data findings to leverage sustainable and efficacious community health programs. She is passionate about making data accessible to local health departments and support data modernization efforts to enhance program impact at both local and state government level.

Lisseth earned a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from Florida International University, where she was a Stemple STARR scholar, and specialized in environmental and occupational health epidemiology.
