Barry is a dedicated healthcare leader committed to enhancing the lives of residents in southeastern Kentucky. As the CEO of Primary Care Centers of Eastern Kentucky (PCCEK), he oversees five rural health clinics in Appalachia, providing integrated care since founding PCCEK in 2003. The clinics offer comprehensive services, including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Behavioral Health, Dentistry, a Diabetes Center, and Pharmacy, ensuring accessible healthcare under one roof.
Barry's career began as a Kentucky Medicaid Auditor, followed by roles as a Controller in a long-term care facility and CFO of Shriners Hospitals for Children in Lexington. His experience with Rural Health Clinics inspired him to impact his home region positively. With over 30 years in healthcare, Barry is skilled in building patient-centered systems using the RHC model. He also serves as CEO of Beacons of Hope, an addiction recovery center he opened in 2022, offering inpatient and outpatient services
