Tiffany Moore is the Executive Director of the Beaufort County 360 Leadership collaboration, and the Behavioral Health Task Force Coordinator at Beaufort County Health Department through the North Carolina Alliance of Public Health Agencies. She specializes in behavioral health with a focus on providing equitable access to resources for individuals struggling with mental illness and substance use disorder. As an advocate for people who suffer from substance use disorder, she led the efforts to create a strategic plan for Beaufort County Opioid Settlement funds, making it one of two counties to successfully implement Option B strategies in 2022.

As a passionate supporter of people who have mental illness and substance use disorders, she received the 2023 Chamber Award for Community Leader of the Year from the Washinton-Beaufort Chamber of Commerce, 2023 Individual Community Impact Award from the Beaufort County 360, and the 2023 Community Impact Award for the efforts of the Behavioral Health Task Force. She has used creativity and innovation to create initiatives such the podcast series “Riverfront Talks: Substance Matters” to reduce stigma, open dialogue, and add a human element to the discourse around behavioral health struggles. She further created a countywide outreach initiative called Community in Action that includes numerous community partners who work together to help marginalized people overcome barriers to care that people in rural communities face.
