Ashley Perry currently serves as the deputy director at Project Weber/ Renew, Rhode Island's largest center for harm reduction and recovery services. Additionally Ashley is the founding member of the RI drug user advisory board and a board member for the RI association of nurses in AIDS Care. Ashley is currently leading her team at Project Weber Renew to open the first overdose prevention center in Rhode Island. She is a passionate advocate and harm reduction educator who uses her voice and lived experience as a guide to challenge oppressive systems and make change within them. Ashley believes that we need to end the war on drugs, the criminalization of people who use drugs and the criminalization of sex workers, and that we can eradicate Hep C and HIV.
