As the Overdose Fatality Review Investigative Liaison, I have the unique opportunity to build a connection between the Hamilton County Heroin Task Force , Hamilton County Public Health Department and family members who have lost loved ones to the opioid epidemic.

The Heroin Task Force's mission is to work backwards to identify and prosecute drug suppliers who have provided drugs that led to a fatal overdose. My mission as the Investigative Liaison is to gather information and assist family members in dealing with their loss while directing them into the proper continuum of care as they move forward. This partnership with Public Health and the Overdose Fatality Review seeks to reduce the number of fatal overdoses and provide families with a level of care that they deserve.
