Michele began her executive management career in compounding pharmaceuticals specializing in chronic pain management delivery for patients dealing with pain and/or spasticity. In 2011, she transitioned her career to focus to substance use disorders and recovery-oriented systems of care. She has created and implemented recovery support service programs collaboratively with law enforcement and other state agencies and institutions throughout New Jersey and across the nation. Michele joined the New Jersey State Police in 2019, where her role as an intelligence analyst and subject matter specialists, integrated her area of expertise to incorporate diverse strategies and development for products and programs with the Office of Drug Monitoring and Analysis. Most recently, she is an integral member in the development and implementation of New Jersey State Police Operation RISE (Recovery Initiative Support & Engagement) a proactive program that focuses on naloxone distribution and deploys teams to target hot spot areas and individuals at-risk in accordance with the capabilities of NJSP Office of Drug Monitoring & Analysis.
