Mary is a Board-Certified, Licensed Registered Nurse and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor with over 40 years of experience in substance abuse services and community mental health programs. Mary is a licensed Clinical Supervisor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor, holds a master’s degree in human services administration, and is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse.

Mary is the Executive Director of Mary Ryan Woods Consulting and a Senior Consultant for C4 Consulting. She has extensive experience in recovery-oriented systems of care, integrated treatment of dual disorders, trauma-informed clinical practices, and program development. Mary is a current NAADAC-endorsed trainer and subject matter expert.

Mary is the Past President of NAADAC, the Association of Addiction Professionals, and a past Chairperson of NAADAC’s Awards Committee.
