Michelle L. Maloney, PhD, LPC, NCSE, CAADAC has been practicing in the mental health and addiction field for the last 29 years and a clinical supervisor for the last 24 years. Dr. Maloney is an advocate for staff treating mental health and addiction as she currently mentors, supervises and educates individuals in recognizing the challenges associated with supervision, clinician burnout and workforce development. In her current role, Dr. Maloney developed and facilitates a 30-hour supervision course for new supervisors. She has also spearheaded a 360-hour addiction academy curriculum, which is approved by the state of Wisconsin and NAADAC, to assist individuals in obtaining their substance use credential. She is also a passionate advocate for those struggling with substance use.
She is also skilled in nonprofit leadership and holds a PhD in Corporate Leadership from Alvernia University. Dr. Maloney is dedicated to the behavioral health field, currently serving on the addiction treatment and quality committee for the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare. She completed a term on the Pennsylvania ICRC board.
Dr. Maloney’s lifelong goal is to eliminate stigma, emphasizing substance use is treatable and afflicts people of all socioeconomic levels, races, nationalities, and educational levels.
