Megan Norquest, MSW, LCSW, MCAP, ICDAC, NARMT has been practicing trauma-informed care in the substance use and mental health field for over a decade. Ms. Norquest is a dedicated and compassionate trauma-informed professional with a passion for helping individuals and families heal and experience post traumatic growth. With a deep understanding of how Developmental, Relational, and Complex trauma impact mental health, physical health, and spiritual well being, Ms. Norquest holds a certification in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) which addresses the long term impact of Developmental trauma. Ms. Norquest is working toward completing the NARM Masters training which deepens the knowledge around the lasting effects of trauma. Ms. Norquest desires to move into the area of research, academics, and clinical supervision to support other therapists in their journey to become trauma-informed in this way. Using a client-centered and person in the environment approach, Ms. Norquest helps clients address the obstacles and heal through connection.
